The importance of money

If emotions are balanced then there is joy in what is, otherwise –

Money, possessions in the broadest sense, is an emotional matter. A person can be emotional about money at any time and who can feel that emotion at its peak. Money can create almost all kinds of emotions in a person – joy, frenzy, excitement, sadness, surprise, uncertainty, insecurity, temptation, doubtless. These emotions determine a person’s dealings with money. This practice can include proper understanding of the importance of money, earning money, using money, enjoying money, proper planning of money, etc

All emotions associated with money have a strange relationship.

Each emotion has a unique balance with money, a balance that shifts back and forth according to one’s wealth and temperament. As long as this movement is close to the middle, everything is fine, but as it tilts towards one extreme, emotional-behavioral problems arise in life. During my long career as a psychotherapist I have had the opportunity to closely examine a person’s emotions, temperament and balance with their possessions. From my experience, I have come to the conclusion that not everyone can earn according to their needs, those who earn cannot use it properly, those who use cannot enjoy it as much as they use it and those who earn, use, enjoy. In sum, it cannot be planned for the long term! Earning, using, enjoying and managing money are all interconnected and I strongly believe that a healthy relationship with money can lead to a sense of contentment and happiness. And, most importantly, have emotional well-being  Only then is this relationship healthy

Let’s dig a little deeper into my point. Why can’t a person earn according to need?! Naturally, we think about skills, opportunity, support etc. But more important than that are the things that lie behind all these. Like, willingness to work, mental readiness to work hard, sense of responsibility etc.

all these things are related to one’s emotional health.

A person living in depression does not want to work. A maniacal person is engrossed in daydreaming, does not feel the need to work and is suspected of embezzling A person in a state of agitation or tension may quit a job or get involved in a business at any time. He who has not taken the responsibility of earning ten rupees in the country accepts the responsibility of cleaning the bathroom to earn a dollar abroad! People who are in a hurry to make money get addicted to betting, gambling, commodities, crypto etc.

These behaviors, practices or attitudes of a person are intertwined with emotions to such an extent that it is understandable that the ability of a person to earn as per the need depends on the health of these emotions.

Why can’t the earner use it properly?!

Most of our expenses other than basic needs are influenced by emotions and that’s why almost all advertisers do theirs  Advertisements often use emotional cues. Many of the expenses we spend are not out of necessity but for the purpose of showing off, impressing others or trying to impress them. Naturally, in this environment, people’s spending is much more influenced by emotion than by necessity. In sum, people buy unnecessary items, overpriced items (not value for money), out of affordability items, etc. At the beginning and regret it later or go to great lengths to maintain it. Individuals who have balanced thinking with emotions stay away from such emotional buying and can use their earnings properly, with full understanding.

Most people are rarely happy where and how much money they use. New or expensive may give pleasure for a few days, then back  Our usual emotions turn on. If the feelings are balanced, there is joy in what and how much there is, otherwise there is blood boiling between pleasures and comforts.

Everyone has to invest money but their feelings will decide whether it will be right or not!

 The number of investments made on impulse or temptation is found to be higher than investments made with a steady mind and proper planning. There are many examples in front of us of celebrities who made a fortune in their youth, died in poverty or committed suicide. This is the story of all those who once used to be stung and today have a mold like ‘Karwa Gujar Gaya’. If you dig a little deeper into these cases, you will find that these are individuals who have failed to balance their emotions with money. These are examples of failing to plan after earning, using and enjoying.

If you are wondering why I have started this money myth, then let me tell you that a person’s financial condition is related to his mentality and mental health.
